Router-based CNC cutting of foam board and corrugated cardboard

NEON.BG has the equipment to cut foam board and corrugated cardboard.

Foam board is a light, smooth material made of two rigid paperboard facings with a polystyrene foam core. It's exceptionally stable, holds up well at high temperatures (up to 100°C for extended periods, 160°C briefly), cuts cleanly, and can be laminated. It should be kept away from low temperatures and humidity in storage. Foam board is most often used for interior applications — display design, hanging signs, photo frames and similar products.

Frequently Asked Questions

What corrugated board thickness do you cut?
For example 8 mm, as in the clip. The machine takes thicknesses up to 100 mm.

Can it be creased?
Yes, with a creasing wheel. Cutting and creasing happen in one cycle, from one drawing.

Is a die needed?
No. That is why every next box can differ from the one before it.

Can you cut pre-printed material?
Yes. The machine picks up the registration marks with a laser so the cut lines up with the print.

How is the part assembled?
It folds by hand along the creases.
