Terms of Use

1. Scope and acceptance

This document sets out the terms under which the website neon.bg (the "Site"), owned and operated by NEON.BG OOD, may be used (company details below). By accessing and browsing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Copyright and Site content

All content on the Site — including, without limitation, text, service descriptions, photographs, videos, drawings, technical tables and reference data (e.g. bending tables, K-factor tables, tooling datasheets), online calculators/configurators and the logic built into them, source code, design and layout — is owned by NEON.BG OOD or used by NEON.BG OOD under a lawful basis. This content is protected under the Bulgarian Copyright and Related Rights Act (ЗАПСП), including the sui generis database right under Chapter Eleven "a" of that Act, applicable European Union law, and the Bulgarian Trademarks and Geographical Indications Act with respect to NEON.BG OOD's trademarks and trade names (including "NEON.BG", "NEON SMART", "ADD Letters").

3.1. Without NEON.BG OOD's prior express written consent, it is prohibited to

  • copy, reproduce, publish or republish (in whole or in part) text, photographs, tables, drawings, or results generated by the Site's calculators, on another website, platform, print publication or other medium;
  • scrape data from the Site using automated tools;
  • remove or obscure the original source, including presenting the content as one's own, or reproducing it without clearly stating that it originates from neon.bg together with a direct link to the relevant page;
  • embed pages or content from the Site into another site in a manner that creates the impression of a different owner (framing).

The prohibition above on automated scraping does not apply to automated crawling and indexing systems (search engines, AI assistants and other bots) that the Site has expressly permitted access to via its published robots.txt and llms.txt files, provided they comply with the directives set out there. NEON.BG OOD may withdraw this permission at any time by amending those files.

3.2. Permitted use

Browsing the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes and sharing an unmodified link to a specific page of the Site (e.g. on social media, by email, or in a forum) is permitted. Quoting a short excerpt with a clearly stated source and an active link to the original page on neon.bg is permitted within reasonable limits, provided it does not conflict with the normal exploitation of the work and does not prejudice the legitimate interests of NEON.BG OOD.

3.3. Permission for broader use

Any use beyond what is described above (including republishing, commercial use, or incorporation into another product or service) requires NEON.BG OOD's prior written consent. Requests for permission should be sent to info@neon.bg.

3.4. Consequences of infringement

In the event of an established infringement, NEON.BG OOD reserves the right to seek protection of its rights under Art. 94 et seq. of ЗАПСП (damages), and, where warranted, under Art. 172a of the Bulgarian Criminal Code, as well as to request removal of the content from the relevant platform or hosting provider.

4. Technical tables, calculators and informational materials

Technical tables, reference data and results produced by the Site's online calculators/configurators are informational and indicative in nature. They do not replace technical review, drawing approval, or a formal quotation from NEON.BG OOD, and do not commit the company to any specific price, lead time, or technical feasibility prior to written confirmation. NEON.BG OOD accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of indicative values from the Site, without subsequent confirmation by the company.

5. Limitation of liability

NEON.BG OOD makes reasonable efforts to keep the Site's content accurate and up to date, but does not warrant that it is free of errors or that the Site will be continuously available. The Site may contain links to third-party websites, for whose content NEON.BG OOD is not responsible.

6. Relationship to other documents

These Terms are supplemented by NEON.BG OOD's Privacy Notice and Confidentiality & NDA Principles, published on the Site.

7. Changes

NEON.BG OOD may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of those changes.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Any dispute shall be referred to the competent court in Sofia, unless a mandatory legal provision provides otherwise.
