Fiber laser cutting of aluminum
NEON.BG has the equipment to cut sheets of aluminum of any kind.
Aluminum is a silvery-white, soft, non-magnetic, malleable metal — the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust and the third most abundant element overall, after oxygen and silicon. It's known for its relatively low density and corrosion resistance, which comes from a passivating layer of oxide that forms on its surface. Structural components made from aluminum alloys play a key role in aviation and see significant use across other transport sectors and in construction. Aluminum is also widely used for advertising products (dimensional letters, stands, displays, illuminated boxes, structural and cladding elements) as well as in construction (interior and facade elements) and other industrial sectors.

Frequently Asked Questions
How thick can you cut aluminium?
Up to 10 mm on the powerful fiber laser.
And finer detail?
Up to 6 mm on the precision fiber laser, 2000 W, pulsed mode.
Sheet format?
3000 × 1500 mm on the powerful one, 2500 × 1250 mm on the precision one.
Can it be milled instead?
Yes, on a 4-axis HARMUTH. Double-sided machining of 2000 × 1000 × 30 mm enclosures with threads, for example, as in the clip; the machine takes thicknesses up to 100 mm.
Is there coolant when milling?
Yes, automatic coolant injection on parts 15 – 30 mm.
